These photos were taken on a walk around Dovestone on 7 March 2010. It was a very clear sunny but chilly day after a cold night with plenty of patches of snow around from the winter falls.

This is by Dovestone Reservoir looking to the edge of Dove Stone Moss.

At Great Dove Stone Rocks looking down to Yeoman Hey Reservoir. All the reservoirs were full to overflowing.

The opposite view from the rocks to Dovestone Reservoir and down the Tame Valley, Alphin Pike is to the left
.

Some of the areas of snow on the edge of Ashway Moss. Figures can be seen making their way across the snow which gives an idea of the scale.

Ashway Gap. One of the outlets for water to flow down to the reservoirs can be seen on the hillside.

Drifts by the stream at Ashway Gap.

At Raven Stones looking across the moors to snow covered Black Hill and Holme Moss on the skyline
