VARIOUS STUFF - SNOW
FEBRUARY 2007 in SADDLEWORTH
BACK TO LOCAL PHOTO INDEX
The second week of February 2007 was cold and there was heavy snow in places, espcially the Midlands and Wales and also parts of the Pennines and Peak District but sadly for me the heavier snow never made it to Mossley, we just a thin covering which soon thawed. But it was still cold, this is the canal on the morning of the 10th with the ice having been broken by a passing narrow boat. | |

The next day, 11th Feb as the thaw continued but drifts remain at the end of Harrop Edge above Diggle. |
