1 Feb 2008 had the hope of some snow, but there wasnt much! This is on the hillside beneath Pots and Pans in Saddleworth

On top of the moors near Slades Rocks above Uppermill looking across to the A635 Holmfirth Road as a brief snow shower clears away. it was very windy up here with a bitter windchill


2nd Feb started much snower with 3 - 4cms lying and more snow showers, this is looking down the valley from Mossley to Saddleworth in falling snow

By mid morning the snow showers had cleared away and the sun came out, this is the view to Aldermans Hill and Dovestone Reservoir
