Stockport Road on the edge of Mossley after overnight snow showers, 2 February 2009.


Stockport Road again, this time in the evening of the 2nd Feb with more snow falling


Chew Valley Road, Greenfield.


Up at Lydgate the wind was howling and drifted snow had blocked the road up from Mossley - photo taken late on 2nd February 2009


It wasn't just the road at Lydgate which was getting buried in the drifts.

By the following morning the road into Lydgate had been dug clear, though was still very snow covered.
