VARIOUS STUFF - MORE SNOW MOSSLEY & SADDLEWORTH FEBRUARY 2009
BACK TO LOCAL PHOTO INDEX

There was still a complete covering of snow from the previous few days when it started snowing again on the 5 February, this is Mossley with a bus carefully heading down Stamford Road and - if you can make it out - a train heading to Huddersfield

The following photos were all taken on the 6 February 2009, this is Huddersfield Road above Diggle

A few days later (10th February to be exact) and the snow was still around, this is the setting sun seen from the summit of Alphin Pike.

14 February above Uppermill with Saddleworth Church to the left, there'd been quite bit of thawing but still plenty of snow around
