The
view towards Greenfield with the remaining mist thinning rapidly, earlier it had

Climbing
up to Pots and Pans Stone looking down to Uppermill, Saddleworth Viaduct and Dobcross
behind. The morning fog had lifted into a thick bank of low cloud which covered

Saddleworth War Memorial
on the hilltop above Uppermill, seen though a thin mist which was drifting past

View
from Pots and Pans Stone to Wharmton (with the mast) and the Tame Valley below.
Heading
out onto the moor and into the fog and frost.

Heading
down to Uppermill which is somewhere below hidden by the fog.
Looking
back up to Slades Rocks. The frost remained all day where sheltered from the sun.
