VARIOUS STUFF - PHOTOS OF A WALK BLEA RIGG TO LOUGHRIGG FELL - OCTOBER 2011
BACK TO LAKE DISTRICT PHOTO INDEX

The walk started from Grasmere and this is the view to Helm Crag as I left the village.

Easedale.

On the way to Blea Rigg there's a fine view down Great Langdale. Crinkle Crags form the backdrop.

Nearing Blea Rigg. Pavey Ark and Harrison Stickle rise behind to the left.

On Blea Rigg.

The opposite view from the summit to Little Langdale and Lingmoor Fell.

I then turned round and headed back down the broad ridge towards Silver How. Windermere is in the far distance.

Easedale Tarn seen on the decent from Blea Rigg.

Continuing over the many ups and downs in a brief glimpse of sun.

Nearing Silver How, the high point to the left.

Heading down from Silver How, with Grasmere and Rydal Water below and my next destination Loughrigg Fell to the right.
