On the moors above Hayfield while revisiting some of my old cycling routes. Just incase you're wondering, the sign says public footpath but it is also a bridleway so I was allowed to be there on my bike!

Time to get off and push - in the lanes near Scouthead, Oldham.

Time to get off and push again - above Diggle in Saddleworth.

Heading down one of the bridlepaths from the A635 down to Meltham in West Yorkshire.

After many years of only riding mountain bikes, in late 2010 I acquired this, a Specialized Tricross for more road riding. It's seen here after a cross Pennine ride to Hebden Bridge.

I still have the Merlin though, after a few years use I've replaced and upgraded the drive train and it's running as well as ever. This is on the Trans Pennine Bridleway above Denshaw

On a trip back to my one of my former regular routes above Hayfield in Derbyshire.
