December 2006 saw a very foggy week of weather in England, particularly in the South and East but we had some fog too round the Pennines east of Manchester. This is Stockport Road, Mossley just after midnight on 20 December in thick fog

Around 0930 on 20 Decebmer in Mossley as the fog slowly cleared from higher ground, the top of Wharmton Hill can be seen above the fog
