A bright sunny October
morning in Hayfield, Derbyshire. There was a bit of a breeze but it was quite
warm in the sun.
Little over 2 miles away, and 1200 feet + higher up on Kinder Scout and it was completely different. Low cloud, limited visibility (it was worse than it looks here) and a strong cold wind.
Another view on Kinder, walking into the wind was difficult at times, it was cold enough for gloves and not a day to venture off the paths without a compass
Heading back down into Hayfield in the sun once more, with the clouds lifting from the hills though Kinder behind us was still covered.
