This first photo was taken in Manchester city centre on the morning of 16 December 2011 with heavy wet snow falling. It didnt really stick though.
Back home in my local hills it was a snowier scene on the 17 December,
this was the view at Grasscroft as the afternoon sun sinks into the clouds.
