VARIOUS STUFF - SNOW DECEMBER 2011

This first photo was taken in Manchester city centre on the morning of 16 December 2011 with heavy wet snow falling. It didnt really stick though.


Back home in my local hills it was a snowier scene on the 17 December, this was the view at Grasscroft as the afternoon sun sinks into the clouds.

The following morning more snow fell, this is the scene near the Mossley / Grasscroft border on 18 December 2011 just after the snow had stopped.

By late morning of the 18 December the sun came out and the hills of Saddleworth were bright white, seen here at Dovestone Reservoir.
