By the summit of the A537 road from Macc to Buxton at the Cat & Fiddle pub (over 500 metres / 1700 feet above sea level) it was a different story with low cloud and a bitterly cold wind blowing. |

Every vertical surface was covered in thick spikes of ice, I'd never seen anything like it! |

And I mean everything - as seen left on the bus stop and AA phone or below on the pub sign and radio mast. Inbetween taking each photo I had to run to the car to thaw my fingers out, I don't know what the wind chill was but believe me, it was cold! |
