After the previous day's snow, the sun came out on 25th February and I had a walk over my local hills. This view is from the lane from Disley to Whaley Bridge on the Cheshire / Derbyshire border

2 days later I was out in the snow again, this time around Hayfield in Derbyshire. Here a large snowdrift looms above a lane
the bridle path heading out of Hayfield to Mount Famine. It was possible to walk along the snow drifts which were frozen solid
