On 24 February 2005, after several cold days with some snow we finally got a heavy fall so I headed out into the hills on my bike. This view of the drifting snow is on the old road from Whaley Bridge to Buxton

in the afternoon I went for a drive over to Glossop, this is at Chunal on the road from Hayfield and Glossop with snow falling again
then to round off the day I went for a walk up the hill across the road from my house, this is Whaley Lane at Higher Disley with snow drifting over the road
