Back home again on the 10th February and there was still lots of snow around on my local hills. This is looking to Dovestone Reservoir with the moors of Saddleworth beyond in the late afternoon sun | |
By 14th Ferbruary there'd been some thawing but much of Saddleworth was still snowy and the big drifts would take some shifting, such as this one alongside Running Hill Gate above Uppermill.
