On Christmas Day 2004
we woke up to a covering of snow in New Mills, Derbyshire. This view is
on a lane heading into the hills above the town.
higher up the snow was a bit deeper and the sun came out between more light snow showers
looking down towards Whaley Bridge, the weather should be like this every Xmas day (if not every day from November to March)!
walking back to New Mills along the canal at Furness Vale, the approaching clouds brought more snow in the afternoon
Boxing day was bright and sunny with some new fresh snow having fallen overnight, this view is looking towards Hayfield from Kinder reservoir
