All these photos were taken in York on 7 February 2011.

After a spell of very wet weather, especially in the Pennines, the River Ouse through York had flooded. Nothing too unusual for York but not a sight I'd seen before.

This is Lendal Bridge.

Looking from Skeldergate across to the Kings Arms as some geese explore new surroundings. Well one does, the others have a kip after all the excitement.
