After the heavy snow in the first two months of the winter February was a bit disappointing round my local area. It was still a chilly month with quite regular snowfalls but there was no deep cover. This is Mossley on the morning of 16 February.
The snowfalls gave temporary coverings lower down but the hills around Saddleworth and Oldham were often covered, this photo was taken at High Crompton near Oldham looking to the snow topped hills around Grains Bar on the 20th
