On 24 July 1991 after a much needed night at home I made my way to the
East Midlands for 20143 and 20214 on the 1026 Derby - Skegness.
Not fancying a day at Skeg on my own I headed south. 47704, still in ScotRail colours is pictured at Clapham Junction waiting to work ECS to Waterloo, 24/07/1991.

47381 arrives at Westbury with the 1658 Weymouth - Cardiff, 24 July 1991.

A couple of hours later 47210 stands at Edinburgh with the 0605 Cardenden circle train.

On 26 July 1991 I met up with 20118 and 20165 again for a return trip to Llandudno, the pair are seen here at Crewe on the way back with the 1644 Llandudno - Derby.
47211 at Manchester Victoria on 27 July 1991 having arrived on the 1354 from Holyhead.
The final loco of the
rover was a winner when 37063 unusually turned up to work the 1714 Man
Vic - Blackpool which I did out and back, 27/07/1991.
