No longer employed on Trans Pennine trains, 45104 sits in the siding at Victoria on 16 May 1987.

On 19 June 1987 45033 hauls the GMC rubbish train though Manchester Victoria. It is class 45s I most associate with Man Vic, in 1986 you could see many in a day but during 1987 they were seen increasingly less as they were steadily being withdrawn from service.

On 22 August 1987
uniquely liveried 47513 sits in a siding at Victoria.

47237 with the 1544 Nottingham - Blackpool on the evening of 22 August. It was during the summer of 1987 that I turned from just spotting and photographing trains to seriously getting into loco haulage and my days of spending hours standing on the platforms at Victoria were over.

Not an easy engine to spot - 47213 has no number! Well not on this side at least, it is seen with 45046 on 12 September 1987.

45124 in the sidings at Manchester Victoria on 26 September 1987.

On the same day 31135 was the banking engine.
