33004 rolls into Wilmslow station with the 1345 Manchester - Cardiff,
19 August 1985. I'd just travelled from Stockport on a unit ahead of the
33 - I later wished I'd taken the 33 instead but at the time wasn't into
haulage. The first 33 I had was 33007 in October '85 - see
here for a photo.
33042 leaves Wilmslow on 9 February 1986 with the Sunday service, the 1500 Man Picc -Swansea
The following Sunday 33032 was in charge.
On Sunday 2 March 1986 it was 33031 on the 1500 Man Picc - Swansea.
33043 passes what was at the time my school field south of Wilmslow station on 10 May 1986 with the 1345 Man Picc - Cardiff. 12 months earlier this was the first 33 to work the train.
On 12 June 1986 33040 is seen north of Wilmslow station on the 1345 Picc - Cardiff.
33210 arrives at Wilmslow on 17 July 1986 with the 1345 Picc - Cardiff.
On 25 July '86 33032 heads south from Wilmslow station.
