The former Barrow Hill depot is now home to various preserved and privately owned locos including many undergoing restoration. At the open day on 5 October 2002 33111, 26011 and 20096 were on display
40135 was a visitor on 5 October giving rides up and down the yard.
Barrow Hill is also home to a number of engines stored out of service awaiting their fate. Locos seen here include 31407, 31411, 47375, 50002 and 47229.
